The Foregrounds Landscape & Arboriculture (LA) Scholarship
Our annual scholarship reflects Foregrounds Landscape’s commitment to building a more aesthetically beautiful, functional, and sustainable environment. We value graduating high school seniors who strive to bring meaningful impact to their surroundings and communities, within the fields of landscape and arboriculture. This scholarship aims to assist students in their academic journey, supporting future professionals who will lead positive environmental change across California and beyond.
Award Details
One (1) scholarship recipient will be awarded a $300 scholarship to support their academic journey in a landscape, arboriculture, or environmental-related field. The scholarship recipient will be notified by April 2026 via email and will be recognized on our official website and social media platforms.
Eligibility
To be considered for the Landscape & Arboriculture (LA) Scholarship, applicants must demonstrate an interest in landscape design, construction, maintenance, arboriculture, urban forestry, agriculture, or environmental sciences. The scholarship is open to high school seniors who are preparing to pursue higher education in one of these fields and are committed to creating meaningful, lasting change in their communities. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Requirements:

Legal resident of California

Currently a high school senior graduating in the 2025-2026 academic year

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
-
Planning to attend an accredited 2- or 4-year college

Field of Study in landscape design, construction, maintenance, arboriculture, urban forestry, agriculture, or related environmental sciences

Deadline
Applications are now open for the 2025–2026 academic year. All applications must be submitted by March 31, 2026.
To apply for The Foregrounds Landscape & Arboriculture (LA) Scholarship, applicants must complete and submit the official online application form through our website. Applications must be submitted in one sitting. You will not be able to save and return to your application at a later time. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
